While the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) has set an international standard for element names, symbols, and atomic weights, the element names and symbols commonly differ from one country to the next. Here is a collection of printable periodic tables in different languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Russian, Japanese, and even Klingon. Each periodic table gives the names and data for all 118 chemical elements. If there is another language you’d like to see, please post a comment to let us know.

There is also a list of elements that compares their names in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Note we have a zillion other specialty periodic tables in English, including ones that list electron configurations, atomic radius, oxidation states, and element abundance.
